Nippers 2025-2026 Season
Dear Newcastle SLSC Nipper Families,
We hope you’re as excited as we are for the upcoming Nipper season! We’re gearing up for another fun and successful season, and we wanted to keep you informed about some important registration dates and events.
Key Dates
- 1st August 2025: Registration opens for returning Nippers and siblings
- 18th August 2025: Registration opens for new Nipper families
- Sunday, 19th October 2025: Swim proficiency assessment for all Nippers
- Sunday, 26th October 2025: First Nippers session
Fees
- $65 Nipper Parent
- $100 Returning Nipper
- $150 New Nipper (Includes cap, pink rashvest and plaque)
- $215 Surf Rescue Certificate SRC (First Aid not included)
- $250 Surf Rescue Certificate SRC (First Aid included)
Swim Proficiency
A reminder that all Nippers will need to complete a swim proficiency test on 19th October 2025. This is an important step to ensure all Nippers are ready for the season ahead.

Registration
For new Nippers: Families must register one parent/carer and Nipper to complete registration.
For returning Nippers: Both Parent and Nipper must renew to complete registration.
